If you are looking for lodges with hot tubs and thinking of going on holidays with some friends or a partner, you can almost be certain that you will have a relaxed and enjoyable time. Many people think of escaping the city and going to somewhere like rural Scotland or England for a relaxing holiday (if they are living in the UK). Or if they are living in the US, Lake Tahoe or Smoky Mountain might spring to mind.
While going somewhere remote to avoid the hustle and bustle of everyday city life is wonderful, the entire experience can be enhanced by choosing a lodge or place that has an open air hot tub (preferably with a great view). Some people find it very romantic to just sit there in your jacuzzi and stare out in to an open expanse or if they are with friends, to have a few beers and reminisce about old memories.
The only drawback about renting a lodge with a hot tub is that it can sometimes be a little expensive. So if you are trying to stick to a budget, you may find that it’s actually better to avoid booking a lodge with jacuzzi and instead just book a place without one.
Before making a decision, the team here at hotels with hot tubs recommends that you check out TripAdvisor.com for reviews of what the lodge you plan to book is like. Remember that some sites are fantastic at making their lodges look wonderful by using professional photographers and special lighting, when in actual fact the lodge may be in terrible shape and not comfortable to stay in.
Finally and this goes with out saying (we hope!): make sure to bring provisions people! So many people arrive to their lovely rural lodge thinking that it’s going to be just like staying in a hotel. It’s usually not. When renting a lodge with a hot tub it’s usually expected that you will bring what you need to eat and drink. If you are traveling from far away, check before arriving if the tap water is potable. If it’s not, then make sure to bring a good amount with you as you may find that the closest shop or store is a long drive away.
